St. Louis Lofts Popularity

St. Louis lofts popularity has always been there since renovations began in the late 1990’s.  With the turn in the economy in 2007/2008 construction ground to a painful crawl finally stopping in 2009.  Today, it’s a different world.  Construction is found on street corners and buildings throughout downtown.  Infrastructure enhancements to streets, underground electric and the like have brought renewed interest in the urban lifestyle.

Recent data shows median prices and sales are on the increase.  The National Association of Realtors (NAR) predicted solid movement in our market starting Q3 of 2012.  All signs are pointing to a strong 2013 across the country.  Indicators continue to point to a strong real estate recovery.  The St. Louis market, while clearly affected by the economic downturn, did not suffer as badly as many major markets.  Not discounting the impact the downturn had on our market, St. Louis continues to recover at a nice pace.

As the market recovers, buyers and renters are evident throughout the region.  The time is right to get that great deal on a beautiful new loft or condo in the heart of the loft district.  From the Marquette condos on Broadway to the Westgate lofts on Locust and Jefferson there are plenty of options for the saavy buyer.  Buyers and renters alike are presented with a variety of building amenities from fitness centers to community rooms to rooftop splash pools.  Some even come with hotel amenities like the Edison condominiums above the Sheraton Hotel on 14th Street.

Regardless of your wishes and desires downtown St. Louis lofts offer any number of options.  The time is right to buy.  The time is now!  Contact us now by clicking on the CONTACT tab in the upper right corner of the home page or click here for immediate contact.
