B.A.R.K. Ranger Events
Calling all fur parents and their beloved fur babies! The B.A.R.K. Ranger program has announced its list of exciting events and activities from May to October.
- Kennelwood Pet Resorts Meet & Greet (May 19, 1 pm) – Enjoy a meet and greet with Jenny Dove, an Employee Education Coordinator for Kennelwood Pet Resorts.
- Landscape Walk (June 16, 10 am) – Discover the story behind the Gateway Arch Landscape and the legacy left by Dan Kiley’s design.
- Puppachino Crawl (July 21, 10 am) – Join pet owners and their furry friends at the visitor center as they walk the Gateway Arch National Park grounds.
- Paw Art (August 18, 10 am) – Create paw-some art with pet-safe paint colors and a blank canvas with your adorable furry friend!
- Dog First Aid & Health Chat (September 15, 10 am) – Learn fundamental first aid concepts and pet CPR techniques with Kennelwood Pet Resorts.
- Picnic in the Park (September 28, 10 am) – Enjoy a picnic day with your dog, featuring your choice of lunch, games, photo ops, and treats.
- Pet Costume Parade (October 20, 1 pm) – Find a costume for your dog and prepare to show it off at the B.A.R.K Ranger Halloween Costume Parade.
Picnic in Your Park
When: June 9, Sunday – 11 am to 1 pm
Indulge in a hearty picnic lunch on June 9 for the 4th annual Picnic in Your Park event. Guests can look forward to live entertainment while taking in the views of the Gateway Arch. The funds from Picnic in Your Park will help raise awareness about park conservation, preservation, education, and community programs. Sign up here for updates on the availability of picnic baskets.
Blues at the Arch Festival
When: Aug. 9-10
The 9th annual Blues at the Arch Festival is on August 9 and 10 at the North Gateway. Be part of a wonderful celebration honoring the history of blues in St. Louis. Entrance to the festival is free. You can join the Blues Brunch (ticketed) on Sunday, August 11.
