1. Art of Darkness – a juried art exhibit
The Soulard Art Gallery presents Art of Darkness, which began on October 28 and will run until December 2, 2022. It is an exhibit that features art with a darker feel or aesthetic. This event is great for those who have an interest in things that are creepy or macabre. The free exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for locals to reconnect with their art and culture.

2. Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of Lightning
View America through the lens of Dorothea Lange in a film made by her granddaughter Dyanna Taylor. Dorothea Lange is a name that photographers worldwide associate with emotion and powerful images. Millions feel the depth of the famous “Migrant Mother” photograph from 1936. See how America’s emotions and human conditions have changed over the five decades of her career. Register for the in-person event at the International Photography Hall of Fame.

3. Dia de los Muertos & a Celebration of Latinx Culture
Enjoy the beauty of Dia de los Muertos! Live music, dance, food, drinks, art, and much more will transport you to the exotic Latin American culture. It will be a fun-filled event for the entire family. Experience face or arm painting, Spanish storytelling, arts and crafts, and other enjoyable activities. The event will begin on November 5 and last until November 6, 2022. Have a fantastic time!

Enjoy a free event for filmmakers and anyone interested in film. CAM will be home to the annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival.
The event will feature movies and artists interested in contemporary art as seen through a cinematic lens. This year, celebrate Christopher Harris’s film still/here!
