Fashion Square Lofts For Rent

Fashion Square Lofts

Built in 1926 Fashion Square was designed by New York architect David R. Harrison. His vision was for a 20th century gothic style structure that was one of the most modern buildings in its time. The building was used most prominently during 1926-1949 for hats, clothing and other fashion businesses in the thriving garment district.

The building was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1985. Once New York City became the fashion center of the United States and businesses moved east, the building, except for the first floor sat empty until it was renovated and converted to industrial style lofts and remains a part of the history of the Washington Avenue Garment District.

Residents enjoy the convenience of stepping out their front door and into Blondie's, Rosalita's, Medina and many other bars and restaurants on Washington Avenue.

Many walk to Blues and Cardinals and St. Louis City Soccer games or take the Washington Avenue shuttle which picks up and drops off at 13th and Washington on game days or when other events are downtown.
