Lucas Lofts
The Lucas Lofts is one of downtown's larger buildings rising up to seven floors with a rooftop deck and splash pool. Built in 1896 it was originally home to the nation's largest millinery business, specializing in women's hats and clothing the building was converted to industrial style lofts in the early 2000's.
Lucas Lofts wasn't just tall, but also an anchor of the Washington Avenue Garment District. Each unit boasts exposed air ducts and brick, concrete floors and two levels in some units on the second floor. Lucas Lofts is also home to the Flamingo Bowl on the first floor, a very popular bowling and entertainment event space in the heart of the downtown loft district.
Residents can walk easily to El Burro Loco, Bella's Frozen Yogurt, Mizu, Sen Thai, Over/Under, Insomnia Cookies and many more restaurants.
Many walk to Cardinals and Blues, the new St. Louis City Soccer Club games or ride their bikes along the Arch riverfront.
Talk about convenience.
