Knickerbocker Lofts

Knickerbocker Lofts are affordable, authentic industrial style lofts in a turn of the century downtown building.

Built at the request of Robert R. Brookings as a speculative investment for Washington University, the building was a pioneer in the neighborhood as it stretched the Washington Avenue garment even further West and housed the Knickerbocker Clothing Company. These lofts are within the Washington Avenue Garment District including great restaurants and sporting venues including the Cardinals, Blues and St. Louis City Soccer Club.

Building amenities include a rooftop deck with views of the park and recently renovated Central Library.

The property was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1982. Residents enjoy an easy walk across the street to Blondie's, Rosalita's, Medina and many other restaurants and bars on Washington Avenue.  Many residents take the shuttle bus to sporting events while many others walk to Union Station with The Wheel, St. Louis Aquarium and many other venues.  Knickerbocker should be on your must see list.
